The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family
at the Palliative Care Unit, of Community Hospital O’Leary
on Monday, January 27, 2025 of Omer Agustine Milligan of
O’Leary, aged 90, beloved husband of 60 years to Helen
Milligan (nee Baglole). Omer was born on September 23, 1934 in Hebron,
son of the late Curtis & Lillian (MacAllar)
Milligan.
Dear father to Terry (Tracy), O’Leary; Bryan,
Airdrie, Alberta; Stephen (Jocelyne), Knutsford and Sherry (David)
Horne, Bloomfield.
Loving grandfather to Tara (Tyler), Parker, Amiyah, Kassandra
(Kyle), Katrina (Dagan), Karissa (Sebastien). Special great
grandfather to Ember, Dylan, Beckett, Kota, Karter, Brooks and
Camila.
Survived by his sisters Betty (Hiram) MacKinnon, Birch Hill;
Greta MacEachern, Etobicoke, Ontario; brother Ancil Milligan, O’Leary;
sister in law Judy Milligan O’Leary; brother in law Clifford
Coulson, Summerside and numerous nieces and nephews.
Omer was predeceased by his parents, sisters Ann Coulson,
Maureen (Calvin) MacEachern, Theresa (Ivan) Kirev, Marjorie Milligan,
brothers Vaughan, Clinton, Edgar “John” and
Arnold.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with visitation on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral
service on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Interment in the Free
Church Of Scotland Cemetery, Milo.
