Obituary of Odette Dynowski
Odette was an only child born in Krakow, Poland on August 8, 1929. Her mother enrolled her in ballet at a young age, and she attended ballet classes for 10 years.
Odette survived the German invasion of the Second World War, and at the age of 18 she left Europe and travelled to Canada by boat.
She ended up in Montreal where she met her husband, Stanley, in a Polish pub.
They had a son together, Andrew, and ended up moving to Ottawa.
Odette worked in the dietary department at the Children’s Hospital for 18 years.
Special thanks for the care and kindness she received at Peter D. Clark Long Term Care over the past several years.
Funeral Service will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, on Friday, January 17 at 1pm.
Interment to follow.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
