Nova Mousseau Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nova Callie Sheila Mousseau.
Nova was born premature at 33 weeks on September 26th, 2024. Since birth, Nova spent her life in the NICU in Winnipeg, where she began and ended her fighting journey. Nova was diagnosed with a rare condition that only gave her family a few short months. The condition did not allow Nova to leave the hospital and required her to have 24-hour medical care. Although her family had high hopes that she would beat the odds of medical science and come home, Nova’s illness did not allow. She survived almost 5 months battling the condition, listening to her mom’s voice, feeling her touch along with all her family that came to see her. The doctor’s and nurses at HSC NICU did everything the could possible to provide the best care to Nova, especially in her final hours to ensure she was comfortable and peaceful with family by her side.
Nova Callie Sheila Mousseau passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 21/ 2025 at NICU.
She leaves behind to mourn her mother; Candace, sister Alayia, brother Johnson, Godparents Chantelle and Glen (Toni)
She is also survived by Grandparents Aurthur and Sheila Roulette, Uncles; Mitchelle, AJ (Marianne), Anthony (Amy), Cole (Amanda), Aunties; Chantelle (Boss). Also, her numerous Koko’s and Papa’s.
Nova was predeceased by her Grandparents, Virgina and Arthur Roulette, Great grandma Beverley Paul, her uncles: Fabian Roulette Jr, Patrick Jr Richard, Eric Richard. Aunties: Brenna Roulette, Darcy Roulette and Koko Arlene Roulette and Great Grandpa Harry Roulette.
