It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Norman Bernard Boucher at home, surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Henry and Lena (Bezeau) Boucher, in Saint John, NB.
Norman leaves behind his three children, Robert (Crystal), Karen (Kevin), and Brian (Brenda); along with his grandchildren who he cherished; siblings, Mary Mallett, Joe and David Boucher. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Rose Marie (Doiron) Boucher who passed in 2005.
Norman was employed at St. Anne Nackawic until his retirement in 2004. While employed in Nackawic, he purchased Sunset Park Campground which he had fond memories and chatted about on a regular basis. Norman was Past President of the Nackawic Lions Club, was the first Vice President of the Legion in 1978, served on the Air Cadet Committee and also was the Union Representative for Health & Safety at the Mill. And of course, the harness racing, he loved the harness racing.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) where visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 12-2pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:30pm in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations in Norman’s memory to the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
