Obituary of Norma Congdon
Norma Elizabeth Congdon was born on the farm south of Strome on Tuesday March 12th, 1935 to Clinton and Dorothy Sprague and passed away peacefully at the Bashaw Meadows Lodge on Saturday May 17th, 2025 at the age of 90 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Patricia (Alan) Stuber, Ken (Leann) Congdon, Dale (Cindy) Congdon and Lloyd Congdon: 10 grandchildren and 20 Great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters and nephews Norman and Art Congdon and niece Linda Corbett who became part of her family.
Norma was predeceased by her husband George Congdon, son Dennis Congdon, parents Clinton and Dorothy Sprague and brother Ronald Sprague.
A Memorial Service for Norma will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday May 27th, 2025 at the Heisler Community Hall. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the service.
A Private interment service will take place prior to the Memorial Service at the Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial Donations can be made to the Fairview Cemetery (c/o Eric Stenson Box 616 Forestburg, Alberta T0B 1N0) or to the Charity of Donor’s Choice.
