Doan, Norma Margaret (nee McCracken)… Passed away at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in her 91st year. Norma was born on May 1, 1934 in Manchester, England and immigrated to Canada with her family as a teenager. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Doan and the late Allan Tegart. Dear mother to Kim Willadsen (Rett) of Trenton and Shannon Tegart of North Bay and step mother to Beverley Gummer (William) of Edmonton, AB, Marilyn Llewellyn (Pete) of Calgary, AB, Douglas Doan (Lynn) of Yellowknife, NWT. Dear grandmother to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister of Deirdre Clarke of Kingston. Norma in her early years was very active in Drama Clubs and the Officers’ Wives Club. She was the director of volunteers for many years at Trenton Memorial Hospital. Norma enjoyed her membership at Copperfield’s and the Gym with her pool buddies. She also enjoyed volunteering at the RCAF Memorial Museum. In her retirement she and Bob enjoyed traveling the world and visiting family in Western Canada. Her legacy will be ever remembered by her family and friends. At Norma’s request cremation will be taking place. Memorial service will be held at a later date in 2025 and please visit the Weaver website for future service details. Interment at St.George’s Cemetery will be take place at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the National Air Force Museum of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
