Norma Catharine Brown (née O’Neill) – Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes, on Monday, February 10, 2025, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Lila O’Neill. Loving wife of Bob Brown (2019), caring Mom of Diane Cavana (Don), Jim Brown (Janice), Carolyn Stewart (Wayne – 2023), and Paul Brown (Mary Helen), cherished Grandma of Greg Cavana (Jenny), Dave Cavana, Jeff Cavana (2024) (Chelsea), Emma Brown, Bobby Brown, Laura Brown, Molly Brown, and Lila Brown. Great-Grandma of Miles, and Lucas Cavana. Dear sister of Jean Richards (2018), Ruth Lynch, and Fran O’Neill (1957), sister-in-law of Fran Piggott, and John Brown (2011). Fondly remembered by her nieces, and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Friday, February 28th from 9:30am until 11:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 31 Russell Street East, at 12:00pm.
If desired, a memorial donation may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Renovation Fund, St. Luke’s Catholic Church Renovation Fund, or St. Luke’s Hall Renovation Project (The Knights of Columbus 8911).
Heartfelt thanks to all of the amazing staff at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes. Your kindness and compassion towards Mom is so appreciated. We are grateful for your incredible care and support. Thanks to Dr. Hainer and all those who assisted in Mom’s care.
