It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Nora Ann Benteau of Point May, NL announces her passing. Nora passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank, NL on January 3, 2025 at the age of 70. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband, Garfield Benteau of 33 years; son, Dwayne Benteau (Krista) of Portugal Cove; step-son, Travis Benteau (Lillian) of St. John’s; step-daughter, Trudy Fitzpatrick (Philip) of Burin; 3 grandchildren, Maverick Benteau, Tanner Fitzpatrick, Christopher Fitzpatrick; sisters, Julia Snook, Olive Broydell; brothers, Frank Broydell, Otto Broydell; sister-in-law, Cecilia Shea; brothers-in-law, Simon Benteau (Eileen), Robert Benteau (Cathy), Gus Benteau (Darlene), Rick Benteau (Tracey) plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Nora was predeceased by her parents, Frederick & Dulcie Broydell; parents-in-law, Simon & Beatrice Benteau; sister, Olive Melinda Broydell, brothers-in-law, Nicholas Benteau, Pius Benteau, Herbert Benteau, George Snook. Gordon Shea.

A funeral service will take place at Church of The Most Holy Rosary on:

Interment to follow at at The Church of The Most Holy Rosary Cemetery in Point May.
