The family announces with great sorrow Noëlla’s sudden passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the age of 72 years. Cherished daughter of the late Gemille and of the late Marie Rose (née Viens) Chiasson. Loving mother of Shawn Duncan (Lori Oliver of Oxford Station, ON. Dear sister of Pierre Chiasson (Sylvie Larose) of Orléans ON. “Chère ma tante Noëlla”will also be fondly remembered by her goddaugter Carine, as well as her nephews Nicolas and Xavier Chiasson with whom she shared many special times and her love for travel and cinema. Many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and former colleagues will miss her joyful laugh, and remember her excellent customer service and dedicated years of caring for her mother, her taste for adventure, and her impeccable style. In keeping with her wishes, instead of visitation or a funeral service, family and friends will honour Noëlla at a gathering at a future date.
