Obituary of Nina Elaine Guthrie
With sadness, we announce the passing of Nina Elaine (Ewart) Guthrie, wife of the late Eric Paul Guthrie, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born September 8, 1950, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Audrey (Densmore) Ewart.
Nina had a love for animals, especially her feral cat, Oreo, and the family dog, Laddie. She will be missed deeply by her daughter, Audrey Guthrie.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. John Mowatt, Dr. Robichaud, and the teams of nurses and other staff of the SICU and 4BS for their exceptional care of Nina in her final days.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). In keeping with Nina’s wishes there will be no funeral services or visitation.
For those who wish, remembrances to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
