It is with very heavy hearts, that we share news of the sudden passing of Jody Nichols on December 14, 2024, due to complications from COPD and Sarcoidosis.
Son to Pamela Nichols (James), the late Bruce and stepfather Garnet, big brother to Tyler, father to Olivia and the late Autumn, partner to Rachel, nephew to John (Tammy), Corrinne (Stephen), Jason, Ben; son-in-law to Carol and Norm, brother-in-law to Connor and Mikayla. Grandson to the late Dianne and Regina. Lifelong friend to Perry. Jody will also be missed by many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and friends.
Born in Cobourg, Ontario, on December 22, 1987, Jody was handed to his mother on Christmas morning in a stocking. Jody filled the hearts of so many, but none more than his two daughters Olivia and Autumn. They were the true joys of his life and his greatest gifts to this world. They could get him to do anything, including colour his hair blond to look like Ken, as Olivia’s Barbie birthday wish. In his spare time, Jody had a fondness for sports cars, snowmobiling, and crime shows. While our hearts are breaking, we are comforted in the belief that he was greeted in Heaven by his sweet daughter Autumn.
