Nicholas David Manley
Manley, Nicholas David – Lloydminster, SK, formerly of North River, NS.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Nicholas David Manley, age 30, on February 17th, 2025. Nick passed peacefully in his home in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, where he had recently moved to be closer to his mother, Lisa, and sister, Jessica.
Nick was a graduate of Cobequid Educational Centre in 2013, where he made many lifelong friendships. He spent his happy childhood in North River, running through the neighbourhood with his friends—many of whom became like family to him.
Something Nick will be remembered for was his love for laughter. Whether it was making other people laugh, or laughing at a joke himself, no one loved a funny moment more than Nick did. His contagious laugh will not be forgotten by those who loved him.
Nick was also known for his kind-hearted and selfless nature towards all. His generosity, warmth, and genuine care for others knew no bounds. To know Nick was to know someone who would give his all for the people he loved.
Left to forever love and miss Nick is his mother, Lisa Priest (Stephen Smith) of Lloydminster, SK, his sister, Jessica Manley of Fernie, BC, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold his memory close.
Nick was predeceased by his grandfather, Reginald Manley (Annabelle) of Truro, and his father, David Manley, of North River, with whom he is now reunited. His final resting place will be alongside his father, David, at Noel Cemetery.
A memorial service to celebrate Nick’s life, to be announced at a later date, will be held in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS, in the spring or summer of 2025. Online condolences may be made at www.ColchesterCommunity.com
