It is with great sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Neil Thomas Bolton, surrounded by his loving family, on May 1, 2025, at Strathroy Middle General Hospital at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Pat of 55 cherished years. Proud dad of Dennis (Jennifer) and Sharon (James). Cherished grandpa of Keanen, Makyna, Jillian, Abby and Samantha. Survived by his siblings Richard (Louise), Jim (Linda) and Ruby (Jim). Predeceased by his parents Earl and Marie Bolton and his brother David.
Neil was a dedicated member of the Kerwood Fire Department for 50 years, where he proudly served his community. Neil was Fire Chief for many years. Neil owned and operated D&B Electric in Strathroy for 47 years. Neil made many community connections over the years and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
The family wishes to thank the EMT, Strathroy Middle General Hospital-Emerge & ICU team for their kindness and care.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 from 2-4p.m. and 6-8p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In honour of Neil, wear your casual attire. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
