It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neil Banks on Wednesday January 15, 2025. Son of the late Campton Jay and Minnie Banks. Dedicated farmer and family man. Beloved husband for 62 years of W. Gale (Putnam) Banks. Loved father of Wendy Banks (Mike Smith), Tanya Hammond (Jason) and Joseph Jay Banks (Jennifer). Dear brother of Nina Wiltse, Florence Tate and Joyce Banks. Predeceased by sister, Nyla Whalls. He will be missed greatly by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sons-in-law; Marty Rasmussen and Rick Trudeau and granddaughter; Hayley. Cremation will take place and at a later date, his ashes will be placed where he requested. Respecting Neil’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service and the family asks that each of us remembers him in our own way. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care) would be appreciated.
