Passed peacefully away at home on Tuesday February 4, 2025, Neil Francis Lacey Sr., age 74 years.
Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 53 years Linda (nee Squires) and their dog Phoebe; his two sons Neil Jr. and Karen (nee Thomas); Scott and (Sandra Price); and four grandchildren Shannon, Shawna, Abigail and Meagan. Also left to mourn his siblings: Gail and Paul Fisher; Brenda Lacey; Shelley and Paul Morrissey; his uncle and best friend Tony Hall and (Barb). He will be deeply missed by many other relatives, friends and colleagues.
Neil was a past president and long-time member of the St. John Lions Club. Recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award for dedicated humanitarian services Lions Club International. Neil not only volunteered his time but donated to SPCA and the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind for many years.
Cremation has taken place. A private service for family and friends will held in his honour on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 12 noon.
Flowers may be sent to Caul’s Funeral Home, or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
