Obituary of Nadine Marie Webster
It is with deep sadness that we announce the tragic and accidental passing of Nadine Webster at the age of 54. A rare beauty, Nadine turned heads wherever she went, but it is the impact of her love and devotion to her family and patients that will live on.
Born in Mississauga, Ontario, Nadine made Bobcaygeon, Ontario her home 28 years ago with her husband, Steven Webster, where she opened Kawartha Total Foot Care, a clinic that has become an integral part of the community by helping residents live well through the healing hands of Nadine and her team.
Nadine was happiest when her “babies’” – her son, Ethan and her daughter Teya – were by her side for a walk in the woods, a swim in beautiful Pigeon Lake or browsing the shops and enjoying a bite by the locks.
Nadine’s love of nature extended to her love of animals and before deciding to become a Chiropodist, she seriously contemplated veterinary medicine which is why she chose the University of Guelph to do her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in science. Predeceased by two loving cats over her married life, we are comforted in knowing that her black Labrador puppy, Daisy, was with her and passed with her in the tragedy.
Nadine’s other passions were all united by a common thread – to evoke joy. Her voracious love of music (she was a flautist growing up), art, photography, scuba diving, and decorating meant lots of photos were always being taken and elegantly displayed throughout the family home to capture the beauty of life’s moments in sea or on land, including tropical vacations, birthdays, holiday gatherings and graduations. She was beyond proud of Ethan and Teya who both graduated with honours at Lakefield College School and have gone on to Queens University where Teya is pursuing physiotherapy and Ethan graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Nadine is predeceased by her father, David Young, mother, Heidi Hood, Aunt, Kathy Taylor, and cherished grandparents, William and Katherine (Kitty) Young.
A visitation will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon, on Saturday April 19th, 2025 from 11am – 2pm. With a service to follow at 2:30pm. Accompanied by reception afterwards in the fellowship room of the funeral home. Those that knew and loved Nadine personally or as their chiropodist are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or to the Peterborough Humane Society in Nadine and Daisy’s memory. Memorial donations and expressions of sympathy may be made by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or by calling 705-738-3222.
