Obituary of Murray Paul Noble
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of our brother, Murray Paul Noble, on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Shannex Thomas Hall where he lived the past two years.
Born March 25, 1950 in Fredericton, Murray was the second son of the late Clarence A. Noble and the late Verna (Nason) Noble. Upon the death of Murray’s father in November 1950, and his mother’s marriage to Alyre (Larry) Daigle in 1952, Murray became the stepson of the Mr. Daigle.
Murray grew up in Lincoln and upon graduation from Fredericton High School, he was accepted into the RCMP where he served from 1972 until retirement in 2002, working entirely in the Province of Manitoba. By 2010, Murray realized his heart was in the Maritimes, so he returned to Fredericton where he happily lived out his remaining years.
Summers in Manitoba were spent at his cabin on Oak Lake and he loved his winter vacations in the Florida Keys.
Murray had a love for motorcycles and biked across Canada from Virden to Lincoln on a couple occasions.
He loved the Ford brand and took special care of his F-150 and his Mustang.
Murray was a Blue Jay’s fan and he was also an historian, especially interested in the Civil War Era.
Murray is survived by his siblings, Connie Noble, Fredericton, Patricia Townshend, Tweed, ON, John Noble, Duncan, BC, and Chris Daigle and wife, Beth, Quispamsis, NB. Also surviving Murray is his Uncle, Arthur Nason and wife, Lorraine of Fredericton, as well as nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and several cousins; in addition to his special friend, Rose Patterson.
In 2022, declining health saw Murray admitted to hospital from where he transitioned to Shannex Thomas Hall. We kindly thank all staff for their caring and support of Murray.
Our thanks to McAdam’s Funeral Home for their professionalism with the necessary arrangements pertaining to Murray.
There will be no visitation or funeral for Murray. However, a graveside committal service will be held in the Rusagonis Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
Donations in memory of Murray may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, Atlantic Branch New Brunswick.
