Mona Richards (née Dawson), age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27th, surrounded by her family. Originally from St. John’s, she raised her family in Paradise and spent the last eight years of her life being cared for and cherished by her daughter and son-in-law on Bell Island.

Also left to mourn are her 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, a large circle of friends and an extra special woman, Georgina King, whom she loved like a daughter.
