With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Francine Genier, who peacefully left us on March 17, 2025, in Dorval, Quebec, surrounded by her loved ones. After a courageous battle with lung cancer, she departed at the age of 68.
Francine was deeply cherished and loved by her family. Known for her hard work and unwavering dedication, she ensured that all her loved ones were cared for and well. Her absence will be profoundly felt by her many family members and friends.
She is survived by her loving partner, Robert; her daughter, Samantha, and son-in-law, Moe; her daughter, Sandra, and son-in-law, Alberto; and her beloved grandsons, Adam and Mando; and step-daughter Kristina and her family. She also leaves behind five brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She joins her sister, Carole, and brother-in-law, Michael.
The family will receive condolences and visitation on March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a celebration of Francine’s life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at J.J. Cardinal Residence Chapel (2125 Notre-Dame Street, Lachine, QC H8S 2G5). Family and friends are invited to attend and share their memories. A reception will follow at J.J. Cardinal Hall.
The family would welcome donations to the Association Pulmonaire du Québec in memory of Francine Génier as a more meaningful tribute.
