Obituary of Millie Flamont
The family of Millie Flamont, beloved wife of Raymond, sadly announce her passing on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from Country Meadows in the Yorkton and District Nursing Home. She was 78 years of age.
A Visitation for Family & Friends will be held on Tuesday, February 11th from 5:00pm – 6:00pm in the Chapel of Bailey’s Funeral Home (45 Fifth Ave. N., Yorkton).
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 12th at 2:00pm from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Crystal Bailey officiating.

The interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane, Yorkton Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be made to the Activity Department at the Yorkton and District Nursing Home as gifts of remembrance.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey’s Funeral Home,Yorkton.

Hettie Mildred Flamont (nee Hunt) passed away February 6, 2025 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. She was born on January 5,1947 in Gander, Newfoundland. Ray and Millie first met in Fort Smith, NWT in the 1970s. Reconnecting again and getting married in 1996. They lived in Calgary, Regina, and finally settling in Glovertown, Newfoundland where they resided for over 20 years. Due to declining health, they moved back to Saskatchewan to be closer to family in 2022.
Millie was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Effie Hunt, brother Walt, and her son Jimmy Jackson.
She is survived by her loving husband Raymond, daughter Sandra (Marc) Westby, grandchildren Kristen Westby and Jennifer Feere, great-grandsons Ashton, Donavon and Xander; Son Wayne Jackson grandson Dylan; Daughter, Loriane Pennell (Wade) Kiandra, Jake, and Katherine;
Son, Lawrence “Son” Belhumeur Langan (His kids) Tristin, Shaleigh, and Isabella;
Daughter-in-law Raeanne (Jimmy) and their children Dalton (Emily) & Brooklyn Jackson; Sister Joan (Gerald) Janes, brother Lloyd Hunt, brother David (Melvina) Hunt, and nieces; and many great friends in Newfoundland.
Thank you to the staff on Country Meadow at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home for the amazing care Millie received in the last year.
