DJONOVICH, Mihailo “Mike”
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mihailo “Mike” Djonovich on March 25, 2025, at the age of 58, at Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved son of Milica and the late Radomir Djonovich, and a devoted father to his children—Remington, Savannah, Rylee, and Gavin. Mike was a cherished brother to Natasha “Nancy” Haufek (George) and the late Aleksandar “Alex” Djonovich, and a caring brother-in-law to Carmela Djonovich. He was a proud uncle to Victoria, Meagan, and Justin, and will be lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends across Serbia, the U.S.A., and Quebec.
Mike proudly served in the US Navy from 1985 to 1989. He had a zest for life and a talent for negotiation, which led him to run a successful advertising business, MenuMaxx USA. A passionate fan of the Dave Matthews Band, he enjoyed traveling extensively to attend their concerts. Additionally, Mike was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Friday, March 28, from 5-8 p.m. A Pomen will be conducted at the funeral home at 7 p.m. The funeral service will take place at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, located at 6085 Montrose Rd., Niagara Falls, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery.
