It’s with heavy hearts. That we announced the passing of Michelle L. Byl (Mitton). A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Michelle fought a courageous 3-year battle with Cancer. Michelle gained her Angel wings on April 11th, 2025.
Beloved wife and best friend of Clarence Byl. Proud loving mother of Bailey Paul (Alyssa) of Norwich. Cherished daughter of Judyann Mitton, and the late Ron Mitton (2015 of Tillsonburg). Dear sister of Michael Mitton of Tillsonburg. Loving daughter-in-law of Nelly Byl and the late John Byl (2015) of Norwich. Adored by many brothers-in law and sisters-in-law. Michelle will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews.
Michelle was more than a friend. She was a chosen sister to Teressa Van Acker (Ken Clairmont) and children Kyaira, Desmond and Lucca of Tillsonburg. Dave Dyer and Amy Nadeau of Tillsonburg and Dana McCarey of Delhi.
Family and friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm. and on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 10:00-10:45 am. at the North Broadway Baptist Church, 6 North Street East, Tillsonburg, ON. A service to celebrate Michelle’s life will be held at the North Broadway Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michelle may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
