Michelle Adrianne Seilman, age 44 of Regina SK, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Regina General Hospital.
Michelle was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka to Ivan Seilman and Anne Hendrikas on September 17, 1980. She was raised by her deceased grandmother Muriel Udagama Seilman. Michelle went to Robert Usher Collegiate and graduated in 1999. She went on to earn a degree in Bachelor of Social Work from University of Regina. Michelle worked as a Social Worker for Regina Open Door Society for fifteen years. She enjoyed Puzzles, music, painting, reading and watching birds. Michelle deeply cherished animals and nature, and always dreamt of living by the forest running an animal sanctuary. Most importantly, she shared her knowledge and kindness to the community in official and unofficial channels. Michelle was a testament to who we all should strive to be.
Michelle is survived by her brother Frank Seilman; sisters, sister-in-law, uncles, aunties and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Muriel Udagama Seilman; and her father Ivan Seilman.
Funeral and Burial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Ave. E., Regina, SK with a family member officiating. MASKS ARE REQUIRED and WILL BE PROVIDED.
