Michel “Michael” Martin, 49, of Moncton,
passed away on Friday January 31, 2025 in Amherst, NS. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of Wilma (Martin) Burt (Tom Warner) of Moncton
and David Daigle of Chatham.
Michael truly enjoyed the outdoors and spending
time with family and friends. He was always happy and was the life of
the party wherever he was.
Besides his parents, he is
survived by his girlfriend, Jennifer King Mont; one brother, Roger
Martin (Michelle) of Riverview; one half-sister, Megan of Chatham; one
half-brother, Matthew of Chatham; one niece, Kennedy Stiles; three
nephews: twins Zander and Tristan Stead, and Noah Martin; one
great-niece, Billie Dematos; one great-nephew due in April, Braxton
Dematos; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette
Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (506-858-1900)
on Monday, February 10 from 2 to 4 pm only. There will be no
funeral service. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in
Dieppe. In memory of Michel, a contribution to the New Brunswick Heart
and Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated.
