It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Michael Zabywalski of Maugerville, NB on February
23rd, 2025. Born in Bremen Germany he
was the son of the late Heinz and Hermine (Jatho)
Zabywalski.
Mike loved to cook and grocery shopping. In his
younger days he was a member of his local riding club and to DJ
parties and he loved German music.
Before immigrating to Canada in 1982, he was a police officer
and worked with his father in special construction fields.
Before this he worked in a pizza restaurant. Once moved to
Canada he owned and operated JA-SA-LE hotel in Hartland, in 1998 he
owned M&M Cleaners in Oromocto and in 1994 the first 17-unit
building was built followed by a 28-unit building in 95.
Mike is survived by his special friend Joyce Ellis, his
sister Susanne Zabywalski. Aunt and Uncle Hilde and Jochen Koster,
friends Torsten Hammer, Lutz Meiners and Jan Schone.
There will be no visitation or service at this
time. A family celebration will take place
later.
Donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the
family.
