Peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friend at the St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, March 21, 2025. Michael DeBlock, of Waterloo, at the age of 56. Beloved Son of the late Joseph & Irene DeBlock. Treasured Brother of Monica (Kelly) MacLeod. Cherished Uncle of Alyssa (Cameron) and Darrin (Stephanie). Michael will be remembered by Sean Hughes whom he shared a lifelong bond and were like brothers. Their friendship was one of unwavering support, laughter and cherished memories.
Michael was a longtime member of the McDonald’s team for 32 years working at the Columbia Street, Waterloo and Highland Road, Kitchener locations. He also participated in the Special Olympics, KW at the provincial level in swimming and bowling.
Family & friends are welcome to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener on Thursday April 3rd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Friday April 4th from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home on Saturday April 5th, 2025 at 11 a.m. Interment Pioneer Cemetery, Burford.
