Obituary of Melvin Kenneth Richard Joshua Allaby
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved baby boy, Melvin Kenneth Richard Joshua Allaby, who left this world far too soon on May 19, 2025, at just over two months old.
Though his time with us was brief, Mel filled our lives with immeasurable love and joy.
Mel was the cherished son of Joshua Allaby and Chelsea Whittaker, and the adored little brother of Oaklynn.
In his short time, he touched the hearts of everyone who held him, watched him sleep, or simply dreamed of his future. He is lovingly remembered by his grandparents: Kim Allaby, Pam Whittaker (Brian), Kenneth Whittaker (Nancy) and Melvin and Georgina Goodland; his great-grandmother, Eleanor Sowery; and many aunts and uncles who loved him dearly: Joe (Megan) Stevens, Christina (Hank) Gregg, Troy (Jennifer) Warren, Matthew (Tara) Pasqualetto, Ashley Whittaker, Meaghan Pasqualetto, Jasmine Langille, Tyler and Jesse.
He will also be missed by Chelsea’s YouTube friends: Myron, 801, Yooper, Ogre, Utah and Jason who loved Melvin dearly.
Melvin was welcomed into heaven by his grandfather, Charlie Asselstine, his great-grandparents: Percy and Maxine Allaby, and his great-great-aunt Jean Coates Fennell.
Though our arms are empty, our hearts are full of the love he gave us. Melvin’s presence will forever be felt in every quiet moment, in every soft breeze, and in every star that shines a little brighter now.
A private family service will be held to honor and remember Melvin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hold your loved ones close and cherish each moment. Forever loved. Forever missed. Our sweet Melvin.
