Maureen “Renee” McCarroll Obituary
Surrounded by her loving children, Renee passed peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday February 1, 2025 at the age of 79. Dear daughter of the late Clarence and Louise Giroux. Loving Mom of Jamie (Shelley), Jacki (James Lyons), Andrew (Julie) and Lesley. Cherished Nann of Matthew, Brianna, Ryker, Charlie and Max. Dear sister of Angela (late Desi Rousselle), Joan (late Marcel Ouellet), Gloria (late Glenn Carr). Predeceased by her brother Fr. Charles Giroux. Renee will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Our Mom will be forever remembered as being fiercely independent through out her life. She was an all star Mom who raised her children to be strong and independent. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. James the Greater, Portage du Fort on Friday February 7th at 1:00 pm. Donations in her memory may be made to Ottawa Heart Institute.
