She was predeceased by her husband Bert Hodge, parents Ernie and Eileen Robinson, brother Ken Robinson and her son-in-law Kevin Shears. Mary worked as a nurse at Grey Bruce Health Services for 25 years before retiring. Mary loved to garden, which everyone would comment on how beautiful her gardens were. She also enjoyed doing the daily crossword puzzle in the Owen Sound paper. Mary’s most favorite thing was her companion Taz (her shiatzu) they enjoyed walking and visiting the neighbors every day.
Mom had a wicked sense of humour, she loved her family and enjoyed dinners with her sister and brother hosted by her niece Debbie Robinson-Robins. Her humour and love for family will live on forever, in our hearts. Mom, we love and will miss you forever.
Thank you to Dr. Rachel Bevan and all the nursing staff at the Palliative Care unit who help mom through her final days.
A celebration will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Parkwood Institute Palliative Care unit: www.sjhc.london.on.ca/ways-to-give/donate-now
