Obituary of Mary Doreen Agate (Nee Hughes)
Peacefully, with her children Kim and Wade holding her hand and her granddaughter Brittney and son-in-law Gord by her side on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, Doreen Agate passed away at the age of 86.
Lovingly remembered by her children Donna, Pam, Kim and Wade. Cherished grandmother of Dena, Darcie, Kyle, Chantele, Ryley, Brittney & Dustin along with many great grandchildren. Doreen’s deep love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her warmth and kindness will be dearly missed. Other family members were able to keep in touch over the phone which Doreen adored in her final days.
Doreen leaves behind a legacy of love, light, and cherished memories. She was a woman of beauty and grace who lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with style and joy. Doreen’s vibrant spirit and undeniable sense of fashion reflected her zest for life. She found happiness in creating joyful moments surrounded by loved ones, leaving an incredible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. May the light she brought to this world continue to shine brightly in the memories of all who knew her.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Doreen’s life will be held at a later date.
