It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother Mary Teevens (nee Alexander) on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the age of 98. Daughter of the late Alfred Alexander and Margaret Dougherty. Beloved wife of the late Steve Teevens. Cherished mother of Joan (Jean), Rosemary (Rob), Colleen (Mike), Stevie, Kerry (Vicky), Barry (Heather) and her beloved daughter Lisa. Loving grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 9 with 1 on the way and great great grandmother of 6. Predeceased by her brothers: Cameron (Delia), Copeland (Martha) and Edward. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
The family wish to thank the staff at the Pontiac Community Hospital – Long Term for their compassionate care for many years.
A graveside service will be taking place on Thursday, May 8, 2025 in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Quyon, Quebec at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion – Quyon Branch.
Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Long Term or St. Bridget’s Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
