Of Albany Retirement Villa (formerly lived her life on the farm in Edy’s Mills) Mary sadly passed away at Palliative Care, Sarnia at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of 70 years to Norman Joseph King. Dear mother of the late Sharon (2022) and Wayne Crombeen of Oil City; Jim and Lynn King of Sombra and Jayne King of Ingersoll. Loving grandmother of Kendra and James Price, Bethany and Josh Gallea, Ashley King, Kyle and Carly Crombeen, Tyler and Brianna King, Kody and Ellen Crombeen. Cherished Nana to nine great grandchildren: Maya and Emmett Price; Bailey Crombeen, Eve Crombeen, Scarlett King, Quinn Crombeen, Jack Gallea, Sebastian King and Gracie Gallea.
Mary was the only daughter born to Russell (1967) and Edna (nee Zavitz, 1986) Knight. Predeceased by two brothers, Clifford Knight (1992) and his wife Ilene (2022); Clayton Knight (1982) and his wife Lila (2005). Survived by one niece, one nephew and predeceased by 3 nephews. Thank you for the care given by Dr. Lilly and staff at Bluewater Health Sarnia and the care and support from Albany Retirement Village staff and residents. As per Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private funeral will take place for the immediate family at Needham Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia.
