FREAMON, Mary Josephine (nee Bertolo)
Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on January 24, 2025, at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her loving husband Floyd. Mother to Floyd Freamon Jr. (Sharon), Terry Freamon (Heather Socchia), Marie McKay (Jim) and Michael Freamon (Jennifer Beilhartz). Grandmother to Jessica, Michelle (Marc), Floyd, Jarrett (Jen), Troy, Tyler (Anusheh), Jeff, Meghan (Todd), Alexandra (Michael), Meghan and Adrianna (James). Loved great-grandmother, ‘Gigi’ to Treveon, Aliyah, Alyssa, Aubree, Isabelle, Hannah, Benjamin, Briar, Riley and Imogen.
Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Louisa Bertolo. Sister to Leo Bertolo, Anna Bertolo, and the late Vanda Moynihan. Mary will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins in both Canada and the United States.
Mary was loved by many. She had a generous spirit and always made sure that no one left her table hungry. Family dinners were legendary. A light has gone out and we are heartbroken. We will miss her greatly.
As per Mary’s wishes, cremation will take place.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion.
