HOUSE, Mary Helen (nee Pearson): Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in her 86th year. Mary, beloved wife of 58 years to the late Barry House. Loving and devoted mother of Paul Pearson House (Mary) and Mary Catherine Masciangelo (Stephen). Cherished Grandmother of Joshua House (Kaylen), Rachael Eylott (Rhys), Anna House, Abigail Masciangelo (Mark) and Zachary Masciangelo. Great Grandmother of Noah and Brynn. Dear sister of Reverend Monsignor John T. Pearson, Robert Pearson, Ranald Pearson (Shirley), and predeceased by her siblings Corinne Conlin, Margaret DiNoble, Thomas, William, and Peter Pearson. Loving sister-in-law of Frank DiNoble (Shirley) and Dorothy Pearson. Fondly remembered by all of her nieces and nephews, family and friends. A lifelong learner, Mary was the former Religion Department Head at St. Peter Catholic Secondary School, Peterborough, herself holding a Master’s Degree of Education from the University of Toronto, she inspired a love of education for generations of students.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary’s Funeral Mass at the Cathedral of St. Peter-In-Chains on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at 10:30 am preceded by a 10 am visitation at the Cathedral with a reception following at Knights of Columbus Hall. Her nephew Fr. Peter Conlin officiating. Private family interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
