Obituary
Evers, Mary Jean (nee Wrightson) passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Southampton Hospital on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the age of 76.
Beloved wife of the late Charles Evers and her first husband the late John Ball. Loving mother to Deann (David), Bill (Stephanie), and Janet (Willy). Proud grandmother of Jessica (Alex), Christopher, Jason (Cassandra), Alex, and Andrew (Bella), and great grandmother to Hailey, Christina, Victoria, Titan, Hailey, Lucas, Laken, and Landon.
Also, survived by her brothers, John (Pam) and Jimmy (Tina), brother-in-law Chuck, sisters-in-law Vera and Verna, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, William & Evelyn, sisters, Verda, Hannah, and Betty, and by her brother Adam.
A visitation and reception for Mary Evers will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 11 AM – 1 PM. A Funeral Service will begin at 1 PM. Following the service an interment will take place at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Neustadt.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Kidney Foundation.
