Marty Magee. May 28, 1937 – February 25, 2025. As per his wishes, after a courageous battle with numerous cancer and cardiac issues, Marty passed away at home on Tuesday afternoon, listening to his favourite songs and surrounded by all his family. He leaves behind his loving wife Penny, his son John (Monique) and his daughter Amy. Marty was such a proud grandfather to Kaitlyn, Kristyn, Abi and Laura.
He worked in the field of industrial sales for over 43 years, proudly owning his own company – Marpen Sales.
Marty was also a well-loved member of Wilmot Creek for almost 23 years where he enjoyed golfing, shuffleboard, and snooker with his many friends. He was also a member of the Northern Eagle Campground with his family for 33 years. Marty will be fondly remembered by the Wilmot and Northern Eagle communities.
In lieu of flowers, donations on behalf of Marty can be made to the Marigold Hospice in Newcastle or to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.
A celebration of Marty’s life will take place on Sunday, March 9th from 1:00-4:00 at the Wilmot Creek Wheelhouse, located at 1 Wheelhouse Drive, Newcastle Ontario, L1B 1B9
