Passed away peacefully at the age of 95 at Tiffany Village Retirement Home on March 4, 2025.
Leaving to mourn son Gary (Francie); daughter Glenda (Derek Galway); cherished granddaughter Nancy (Patrick de Moss); cherished grandson Andrew (Sanchia Bignell); great grandson Kieran; sister Marina (Edgar David Adams; deceased); sister-in-law Joan Barbour; sister-in-law Marion (Homer Stewart, deceased); brother-in-law Ray Howse (Joan, deceased); and her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Baxter; her brother Wilfred Barbour; brothers-in-law Herb (Bea), Carl (Rowena) and Bill (Jean, deceased).
The family would like to thank the staff of Tiffany Village Retirement Home and Dr. Mercedes Penton for their care and kindness.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th at 11 a.m. from St. James United Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bridges to Hope or the SPCA St. John’s.
