In Loving Memory of Martha McGee
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha McGee (Paulenko), a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who passed away with family at her side at the age of 94 on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Timmins and District Hospital.
Martha was predeceased by her beloved husband D’Arcy and her son, Terry, parents James and Pearl and brother Earl. Cherished mother of Deb (John) Jamie (Nancy), grandchildren: Jeffrey, Tyler, Erin (Gary), Stephen (Maria), Katelyn (Karlo), Jennifer (James), great-grandchildren: Auston, Tyson, Shantah, Abigail and Hailey. Lovingly remembered by sisters, Emily and Sandra.
Throughout her life, Martha found joy in sewing, knitting, gardening and in her long-time career working in the shoe department of Buckovetsky’s.
She was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many. Her strength, generosity, and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the immeasurable impact she had on those around her.
A graveside service honoring Martha will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation.
Rest in peace Mom. You will be deeply missed, but your love and kindness will continue to guide us in all that we do.
