Marjorie Dowd Obituary
Passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 96 years, Marjorie Elizabeth Dowd (nee Skeavington), of Winnipeg, MB, formerly of Glenboro, MB.
Marjorie leaves to mourn her passing her three children Perry (Araina) Dowd, Shirley (Dan) Proudley & Kelvin Dowd, all of Winnipeg, MB; grandchildren Trevor (Alicia), Paul (Laura), Michael & Tasha and great granddaughter Brielle.
She is also survived by her brother Don Skeavington as well as numerous extended relatives & friends.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Cliff (2010), daughter Marlene (1962), daughter-in-law Maureen Dowd (2013), brother Lawrence & sister-in-law Hazel and also by sister-in-law Laura Skeavington.
A Celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB, with Sharon Hamilton officiating. A family interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery.
Friends that so wish, memorial donations may be made in Marjorie’s memory to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, (for CD3 Recreation), 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB,
R3L 2P4.
