In loving memory of Marjorie Annabel Giroux (nee Gaudry) 82 years. Passed away peacefully at the Elizabeth Center on Sunday, March 16th, 2025.
Beloved wife of 53 years to Edward “Bud” Giroux predeceased in 2016. Loving mother of Jim (Christine), Doug, and Debbie Cecutti (Christopher). Cherished Gramma of Jacob, David, Kayla (Jackson), Matthew (Kristen), and Alyssa (Jeffrey), and great grandson Mateo. Predeceased by her parents Andy and Anne Gaudry (nee Krietz) and brothers Gary and Donald. She will be sadly missed and loving remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marjorie was born on January 1st, 1943, in Toronto. She worked as a proud nurse for almost 30 years, working both in Sault Ste. Marie, and Sudbury.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff the Elizabeth Center for the many years of care and support they provided to Marjorie.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial alongside her husband in the Civic Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
