“Marion” Patricia Jane Quinn
1932-2025
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on
Saturday, January 18, 2025 of Marion Quinn of Charlottetown, age 92
years. She was the youngest daughter of the late John and Catherine
“Kate” Gallant Quinn. Survived by her daughter Peggy (George
Cairns); son and daughter-in-law John and Wendy Quinn; grandson
Stephen and great granddaughter AnnaGrace; niece Sue Macnevin
(Welland, Ont.) And her sister Maude’s children Mike Quinn,
George, Chis and Maudie Dunn. Also by many nieces and their families.
Predeceased by her 11 siblings; infant granddaughter Grace Quinn and
and two of her sister Maude’s children Freddy Quinn and
Cathy Gormley.
Mom was
a jack of all trades, she wasn’t afraid to tackle anything.
She ran her beauty salon for over 30 years, was expert seamstress,
knitter, any craft you could imagine. She enjoyed playing Bingo at
Connolly Street where she was treated like a queen by both staff and
patrons. She was an amazing lady and her family will miss
her.
Resting
at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the
funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in the
funeral home chapel at 11 a.m.
The
service will be live-streamed and the link will be added the day of
the service.
Interment later in the Roman Catholic
Cemetery, Charlottetown. No visitation by personal
request.
