Marion “Mike” Lois Hurst Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marion “Mike” Lois Hurst (nee Foster) of Milton, Ontario,
on January 22, 2025, at the age of 93.
Born on March 7, 1931, in Cochrane, Ontario, Marion was the beloved daughter of the late Jack and Molly Foster. Marion was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin “Benny” Foster Hurst; her sisters Helen McWinnie, Donna Abel and Faye Zahn and her brother George Foster.
She is survived by her children Daniel (Mary) Hurst, and Jackie (Henry) Nadalin; her grandchildren Caitlin, Rachel, Skyler, Spencer, Ben and his wife Maddie; and her great-grandchild, Laine.
Marion dedicated over 40 plus years of service to the Ontario Jockey Club, retiring with the respect and admiration of her colleagues. A cherished member of the Milton community, she enjoyed the company of her many good friends.
Marion will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a family deeply grateful for her guidance and care. Marion will be greatly missed by all who knew her, both family and friends.
