Marion Wilson Obituary
It is with great sorrow and sadness that we the family announce the passing of our beloved mother Marion Hope Wilson, in her 99th year, on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Extendicare Lakefield.
Much loved mother of Garry (Doreen), Marilyn Evans (late Jack), Judy Hitchcock (Ken), Richard (Cheryl), Robert (Tammy), and the late Brian (2006). Wife of the late Harold Wilson (2008) and Harold Goodlet (2024). Grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 15. She will be remembered by her extended Goodlet family.
Mom was a member of Grace United Church for many years and also a member of the Whitlaw Mariners. She loved to play cards, and she also had a passion for knitting.
Many thanks to the staff at Kawartha Heights Retirement Home and the Doctors and staff on C3 at PRHC for their excellent care and compassion during mum’s final years. Thank you also to the staff at Extendicare Lakefield for making the last days of her life comfortable. We are very grateful for the care she was given.
Family and friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 12 P.M. until the time of funeral service at 1 P.M. Interment at Little Lake Cemetery and a light luncheon will follow.
In memory of mum, donations to the PRHC Foundation or Grace United Church would be greatly appreciated and can be made; along with expressions of condolence, at www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com
