Peacefully, at Lakeridge Health, in Oshawa, on Saturday, March 15,, 2025, Marion passed away one month prior to turning 97 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Des Taylor. Loving mother of Wendy Fortin (Boyd Roberts) and of the late Linda Hester (Harry). Dear grandmother of David Hester, Naomi Wehby (Mark), Kevin Hester (Krista) and great-grandmother of Lucas and Grady Hester; the late Taylor, Mark, Max and Abby Wehby. Fondly remembered sister of Dave Conboy (Donna) and the late Dorothy Rathwell (late Robert).
Our sincere thanks to the amazing staff at Livita Centennial home for the love, support and above quality care they gave my mama the last several years. She felt right at home with the family atmosphere they provided.
A special thanks to the many staff provided by the LHIN program as well for the extra love and care they showed mom, especially Gwen.
Gwen gave above and beyond special care and became a chosen member of our family.
We are also grateful to the professional, caring services provided through Lakeridge Health hospital in Oshawa where she passed. They were amazing to her and the comfort and support they provided us helped to ease that dreaded day.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend for visitation at McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9:30 a.m., until 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. Donations in memory of Marion to Canadian Cancer Society or Lakeridge Health Foundation would be appreciated.
