FOSTER: Marilyn Margaret (nee Dunn) – passed away suddenly, and now is in the hands of her Lord, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe. Marilyn Foster of Port Rowan in her 78th year.
Beloved wife of Barry Foster whom she married October 3, 1970. Loving mother of Melanie & husband Simon O’Carroll and Brad & wife Carrie all of Grimsby. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Hannah, Brendan, Maya, Bailey and Drake. Survived by her brothers Len & Pam Dunn of Kingsville and Melvin & Mary Dunn of Calgary.
Predeceased by her parents Melvin & Mary (Parker) Dunn and sister Cathy Grubisich.
Marilyn had a rewarding career in nursing and following that, along with Barry they operated the Marsh Landing Bed & Breakfast. Marilyn was truly a people person and loved to travel, to go shopping and bird watching especially the cardinals, all this was made possible by her faith in her Lord
Relatives and friends will be received in the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front Rd. Port Rowan on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 12noon until 1:45pm followed by the funeral service in the Clark Chapel at 2:00pm. Interment to follow in Bayview Cemetery, Port Rowan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Samaritan’s Purse would b be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences an be posted at www.gffh.ca
The family would like to thank Dr. Emily Wynveen and Dr. Svyatoslav Kumanovski for all the care they gave Marilyn.
