Obituary of Maria Jane Singleton
Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 the death occurred of Maria Jane Singleton of Charlottetown, formerly of Belle River, two weeks shy of her 52nd birthday.
She leaves behind her brother Paul (Mary MacRae) and niece Olivia and will be remembered by her aunts Grace Martin (Doherty) and Beth Darrach (Singleton). Maria was very close to a previous house mother Marion Murray and her family. Predeceased by her parents John and Ruth (Doherty) Singleton and her sister Roseann Fall.
Maria was a very caring person and spoke to everyone in her path, which resulted in many friends. She always ended her phone calls by saying “I love you”. Maria will be greatly missed.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home. No visiting hours or funeral by family request.
