On Tuesday July 22, 2025 Maria Prazeres Alves of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 85 years.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Fernanda (Carlos) Soares; three grandchrildren: Sergio (Leah McNally) Soares, Marco Soares, and Claudia Soares; two great-grandchildren: Nilsa and Ada.
She was predeceased by her parents Joaquim and Maria as well as her husband Jose.
