With profound sadness we announce the passing of Maria Conceição at home on February 28th, 2025 in her 93rd year. Maria is now joined with her husband Manual Augustino of 48 years and her grandson Bryan. Devoted mother of Manny (Treena), Mario (Carminha) and Odete (Gil). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Andrew (Susy), Danial (Sarah), Stephanie (Matt), Katharine (Álvaro) and her great-grandchildren Anita, Olivia, André, Aria, Audrey, Emma and Malia. Maria was predeceased by her brother and sisters and will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thanks to Miriam from Bayshore and Raquel Lane for the loving care of our mother.
Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East, on Wednesday March 5th, 2025 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. A Rosary Prayer will take place at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Church on Thursday March 6th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
