Obituary of Margaret Rose Orr
With heavy hearts, the family of Margaret Rose Orr announce her passing on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at her residence in Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born July 22, 1940, in Dalhousie, NB, she was a daughter of the late James and Yvonne (Lagacy) Theriault.
Margaret will be remembered for sharing her love of Jesus with others and attending prayer meetings and masses at the Cathedral. She loved to read her bible and tried to help everybody she could.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her sisters: Yvonne Theriault (Donnie Grant), Judy Theriault, and Theresa Theriault; brothers: John Theriault (Barb), Marcel Theriault (Marlene), and Jean-Claude Theriault; daughter-in-law, Darlene Orr; grandchildren: Amy, Jessica, and James; 8 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her son, James Orr; sisters, Anita and Shirley; brother, Jimmy; and her best friends, Elsie and Jack McIntyre.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), with visitation on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 12:10 pm.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception would be appreciated by the family.
