Margaret Ann Craig
(nee Bellman)
April 20, 1941 – February 14, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we announce that Margaret passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Friday February 14, 2025 with family by her side. She was 83. Beloved wife of the late Hubert Craig (2019). Loving mother of Kenneth Craig and Penny Craig (Brent McLean). Predeceased by son Brian (2010) and daughter Kim (2021). Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Edward Bellman (Muriel) of Ottawa, David Bellman (Fran) of Ottawa and Willa-Jean MacDougall (Gordon) of Virgina. Daughter of the late Alfred and Willa (Wright) Bellman. Known for her welcoming spirit, Margaret built connections wherever she went—whether during her years at the Royal Bank or as the owner of the Arnprior Bait Shop. Her true passion was her family, filling their lives with love, laughter, and the comfort of home. A special thank you to the staff at the Arnprior Hospital and to nurses Kelly and Mini who were there for Mom in her last day. Margaret’s arrangements are in the professional care of the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street N. Spring interment will take place at Norway Bay United Cemetery, Norway Bay, Quebec. For those wishing donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation.
